FARMS FOR THOUGHT IS A MULTIPHASE PROGRAM THAT LEVERAGES SCHOOLS, AGRICULTURAL TECHNOLOGY, AND EDUCATION TO CREATE ACCESS TO HEALTHY FOOD.
The Farms for Thought curriculum prepares students for the growing agri-tech market, teaching many different urban growing methods and the essentials of C and C++. Our students walk away grounded in the context of food insecurity and food justice.
AGRITECH CURRICULUM
Our vertical farm is made to be assembled by students like IKEA furniture. It operates on a highly autonomous level and can be controlled on a wifi network. Our machine can grow 98 full sized plants per month and self cleans! Want one for your school?
VERTICAL FARM
Schools who implement our Farms for Thought program and operate their machines on a monthly basis become “Healthy Food Hubs.” We work with you to create a distribution plan that networks what you grow into the community around you! Implementing the Farms for Thought program at your school could provide fresh produce to a food insecure resident near you.
